About Role
The Applied Science Internship allows MS/PhD students to design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art solutions for Amazon Science projects. Interns work closely with Amazon scientists to deploy algorithms, models, or technical solutions into production across various research areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end systems supporting Amazon Science initiatives.
- Write technical white papers, create roadmaps, and drive production-level projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Design new algorithms, models, or other technical solutions.
- Participate in experiments, statistical analyses, and implement solutions using toolkits and self-developed code.
- Potentially publish research at top-tier conferences.
