About Team

The Gen AI & Strategic Initiatives team pioneers AI-powered gaming features, building transformative tools for developers and internal teams at the intersection of cloud gaming, AI, and interactive entertainment.

About Role

The Senior Software Development Engineer will drive platform architecture, build high-scale API infrastructure, implement cross-functional agents, optimize performance, ensure enterprise-grade security, and lead operational excellence across AI-powered gaming systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive platform architecture decisions and contribute to design reviews.
  • Build and operate secure, scalable APIs integrating multiple AI service providers.
  • Launch cross-functional agents to improve productivity across teams.
  • Evaluate and optimize system performance and costs.
  • Support developer experience through SDKs, demos, and documentation.
  • Implement comprehensive observability and monitoring systems.
  • Design throttling and resource management systems.
  • Ensure enterprise-grade security and compliance.
  • Drive operational excellence, including deployment pipelines and chaos engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years programming experience in at least one language.
  • 5+ years leading design or architecture of systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Experience with AWS or cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 6+ years of game industry experience.

Salary Range

$151,300 to $261,500 per year based on location
