About Role

The Software Development Manager will lead engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable multi-tier web services, automate retail processes, and collaborate with product, program, and business teams to deliver critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software engineering teams for multi-tier web service development.
• Partner with product and program management to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence across full SDLC including design, development, code review, testing, and operations.
• Mentor, coach, and grow software engineers to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate complex projects across multiple teams, removing roadblocks, and enabling innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 8+ years of experience leading development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of full software/hardware/network lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact with users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of software engineers.
