About Role

The HRBP Manager partners with Engineering and Product managers to support org design, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness. Implements people initiatives, tailors strategies to teams, and acts as a trusted advisor to managers, enabling growth, engagement, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnering: Guide managers on team effectiveness, talent planning, and org growth; anticipate challenges and design proactive strategies.
  • People Strategy Execution: Implement cohort-level initiatives such as performance calibration, workforce planning, and org design changes.
  • Talent & Performance Management: Lead performance management for assigned teams, including talent reviews, promotions, and developmental feedback.
  • Org Health & Analytics: Analyze attrition, eNPS, and other indicators to influence team-level interventions.
  • Manager & Employee Coaching: Provide high-touch coaching to ICs, Leads, and Sr. Leads; guide managers in crucial conversations.
  • Engagement & Retention: Lead engagement initiatives and design retention strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with COEs like TMOD, Total Rewards to align programs with Product and Engineering needs.
  • Employee Relations: Handle sensitive employee matters and investigations with discretion.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Participate in interviews to ensure right talent density.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in HR, with at least 6 years as Tech HRBP.
  • Strong experience supporting Product, Engineering, or Tech functions in SaaS or IT Product companies.
  • Proven track record across the employee lifecycle, coaching senior ICs and managers.
  • First Principles Thinking for problem-solving.
  • Strong collaboration, conflict management, and trust-building skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership modeling.
  • Result-driven with high standards and business impact.
