About Role
The Assistant Manager / Manager - University Relations will lead Meesho’s campus hiring strategy. This includes planning engagement activities, managing recruitment processes, building institutional relationships, and strengthening Meesho’s employer brand in universities. The role requires expertise in project management, data-driven recruiting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute Meesho’s university hiring strategy, including headcount planning, budgeting, and timelines.
- Build and implement playbooks for university relations and ensure adoption across teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with universities to secure prime hiring slots and enhance campus presence.
- Plan and conduct campus recruitment drives, hackathons, and engagement events.
- Prepare and analyze data reports, hiring metrics, and performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify top talent schools and target programs.
- Build Meesho’s employer brand among students through creative, cost-effective engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience managing university or early career hiring programs in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of university relations best practices and recruitment tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in using metrics for decision-making.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive collaboration across teams.
- Innovative mindset to create impactful, frugal campus engagement strategies.
