About Team

The Recharges & Bill Payments Product team at Paytm serves millions of users daily across 26+ categories including Mobile Recharges, Electricity Bills, Credit Card Bills, DTH, and FASTag. The team focuses on scaling operations, improving reliability, and driving innovation to enhance user experience across India.

About Role

The Business Analyst - Senior Manager will analyze and interpret large data sets to generate insights, develop data-driven strategies, and support Paytm’s Bill Payments vertical. The role requires a mix of analytical thinking, statistical expertise, and business acumen to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, business, and data teams to define data requirements and KPIs.
• Design and maintain data pipelines for accurate and timely data processing.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Identify data trends and recommend strategies to optimize performance and user experience.
• Develop statistical and predictive models for business forecasting and decision-making.
• Support experimentation (A/B testing) and product impact measurement.
• Monitor performance metrics and develop data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in business or product analysis roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or HiveQL.
• Experience with Python or R preferred.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio or Looker.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
