About Role

The Lead Construction Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil construction activities at project sites. The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating material and contractor management, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret civil drawings, verify surveyor reports, and confirm quantities in the Schedule of Quantity (SOQ).
  • Prepare enabling material requirements and provide inputs for Purchase Orders (P.O.) and Work Orders (W.O.).
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define construction strategy, sequence, and baseline schedules.
  • Prepare detailed MTO (Material Take-Off) for fireproofing and structural drawings.
  • Raise PRs (Purchase Requisitions) for materials and coordinate with materials teams for timely availability.
  • Ensure proper setup of infrastructure facilities, equipment, and resource mobilization by contractors.
  • Supervise daily construction execution and ensure adherence to standards, specifications, and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety measures including scaffolding, staging, handrails, ladders, and excavation safety.
  • Review and sign off RA (Risk Assessment) sheets and ensure toolbox talks are regularly conducted.
  • Document quality records and maintain progress reporting and control documentation.
