About Scheme
The Mukhyamantri Prakhand Parivahan Yojana is an initiative by the Transport Department, Government of Bihar, to strengthen rural transport connectivity by linking block headquarters and remote panchayats with district headquarters. The scheme also aims to promote entrepreneurship among Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Extremely Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Minority communities by providing financial assistance for purchasing buses.

Under this scheme, eligible applicants are provided a subsidy of ₹5,00,000 per bus to facilitate affordable transport services and create employment opportunities. The Transport Department manages registration, selection, and fund disbursement processes online to ensure transparency and accountability.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a permanent resident of the block where they apply. The minimum age should be 18 years, and the applicant must possess a valid driving license. They should not be employed in any government service. Eligible categories include Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), Backward Classes (BC), Minority, and General category residents of Bihar.
Benefits
Beneficiaries receive a subsidy of ₹5,00,000 per bus to facilitate the purchase of vehicles for block-level and rural transport services. The scheme promotes self-employment, improves public mobility, and enhances connectivity across rural Bihar.

Register by providing basic details such as phone number, email ID, driving licence number, and password. Fill out the online form with required information and submit. After verification, eligible applicants will be selected block-wise for subsidy support.
