About Scheme
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) is India’s highest civilian honor for children, conferred annually by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The award recognizes exceptional achievements of children aged between 5 to 18 years across various fields including Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Innovation, Science & Technology, Social Service, and Sports.

The PMRBP aims to celebrate and encourage children who have demonstrated exceptional talent, courage, or innovation. The recognition seeks to motivate young achievers and inspire others to contribute positively to society and the nation’s development.
Eligibility
A child must be an Indian citizen aged between 5 and 18 years as on 31st July of the respective year. The achievement or act of distinction must have occurred within two years before the last date of application. Eligible children must have excelled in any of the following fields: Bravery, Art & Culture, Environment, Innovation, Science & Technology, Social Service, or Sports.
Benefits
Awardees receive a medal, certificate, and citation presented by the President of India during a national ceremony in New Delhi. The award provides national recognition and honors children for their exceptional achievements and contributions to society.
Application Process
