About Scheme
The Sindhu Darshan Scheme, launched by the Tourism Department, Government of Gujarat, provides financial assistance to pilgrims from Gujarat undertaking the Sindhu Darshan Yatra in Leh-Ladakh. The scheme promotes cultural unity and enables participation in a national pilgrimage.
Details
Launched in 2017, the scheme offers one-time financial assistance of ₹15,000 per pilgrim, supporting up to 300 pilgrims per financial year. Applicants must be natives of Gujarat, must have completed the yatra, and must submit proof of completion within 60 days. Each beneficiary can avail of the assistance only once in a lifetime. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board, and applications are accepted offline. The board verifies all applications and credits the approved assistance directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.

- Applicant must be a native of Gujarat.
- Applicant must have completed the Sindhu Darshan Yatra.
- Application must be submitted within 60 days of completing the yatra.
- Applicant must not have availed of the benefit previously under this scheme.

Application Process
Application Process (Offline):
Step 1: Download or collect the prescribed https://yatradham.gujarat.gov.in/Documents/Scheme_2022-8-23_752.pdf application form.
Step 2: Fill in all mandatory details, including information about the authorized travel organizer and pilgrim details.
Step 3: Attach self-attested copies of all required documents.
Step 4: Submit the completed application form within 60 days of yatra completion to:
Gujarat Holy Pilgrimage Development Board,
Old Secretariat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Step 5: Retain a copy of the submitted form for reference.
Verification & Disbursement:
The board verifies applications, and the financial assistance amount is directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account after approval.
